Ingredients

Servings: 16
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 200 g mayonnaise
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS Lemon juice
  • 3 l Frying oil
  • 2 Eggs (size M)
  • 150 g flour + 50 g to turn
  • 250 ml Beer (Pils)
  • 16 Zucchini flowers
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper

Directions

    Peel the garlic and press it through a garlic press into the mayonnaise and mix. Season to taste with lemon juice and chill. Heat frying oil to approx. 175°C

    Separate 1 egg. Beat second egg and yolk. First mix in 150 g flour, then beer in small portions with a whisk. Beat the egg whites until they are just holding their shape. Carefully fold into the dough

    Turn the zucchini flowers in the flour, dip them in the dough and fry them in hot oil until golden brown. Drain on kitchen paper. Season with salt and pepper. Arrange the fried flowers on a plate and serve with the garlic mayonnaise
