Cut the sausage first into thick slices, then into wide sticks. Cucumbers likewise in broad pins cut. Onions peel, quarter and cut into slices. Mix everything. Wash chives, dab dry and cut into small rolls. Whisk vinegar, mustard, salt and pepper, add oil. Add the chives. Pour the marinade over the sausage salad and mix well. Leave to stand for at least 1 hour. Taste
