  • 1 can(s) (850 ml) Apricots
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 500 g Low-fat curd
  • 250 g Whipped cream
  • 50 g Butter or margarine
  • 80 g Flour
  • 1 knife tip Baking Powder
  • 5 TABLESPOONS Milk
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 Eggs (size M)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Oil
  • 1 TABLESPOON Pistachio kernels

Directions

    Drain the apricots on a sieve, collecting the fruit juice. Mix 3 tablespoons apricot juice, 50 g sugar, vanillin sugar and low-fat curd cheese. Whip the cream until stiff and carefully fold into the quark cream with a whisk. Put it in a cold place. For the waffles melt the fat in a small pot.

    Mix flour and baking powder. Stir in milk, 50 g sugar, salt and eggs. Stir in melted fat as well. Spread a thin layer of oil on the waffle iron. Bake 5 golden yellow waffles from the dough one after the other and immediately divide into hearts. Pour the quark cream into a piping bag with a star-shaped spout. Spray spots on 16 hearts. Place 1 apricot half on each heart. Cut 8 hearts in half and place them next to the apricot halves.
