Fast puff pastry particles with pudding cream and berry fruits

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 4 discs (à 75 g) deep-frozen puff pastry
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 250 ml Milk
  • 1 heaped tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 package Pudding powder "Vanilla Flavor"
  • 50 g red currants
  • 50 g Raspberries
  • 50 g Blueberries
  • 2 Strawberries
  • 7-10 Tbsp Mint leaves
  • baking paper

Directions

    Place the puff pastry slices next to each other and let them thaw. Cut the slices in half crosswise and defrost. Cut out 4 squares in the middle, round or square. Separate the egg. Place the 4 squares that are not cut out close together on a baking tray lined with baking paper and brush with egg white.

    Place the cut-out edges of the pastry on top and press down gently. Whisk the egg yolk and brush the pastry with it. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for 15-20 minutes. In the meantime, stir 2 tablespoons of milk, sugar and pudding powder until smooth. Boil up the rest of the milk. Stir in pudding powder and cook for about 1 minute while stirring. Let cool down briefly. Take the puff pastry out of the oven and let it cool down a little. Wash and clean the strawberries, currants and blueberries, sort out the raspberries. Cut the fruits in half if necessary.
