Corn and steak in hot sauce

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 4 pistons (à 200 g) Vegetable maize
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sugar
  • 4 medium-sized tomatoes
  • 1 chili pepper
  • 1 (approx. 300 g) Pork tenderloin
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Ketchup
  • 7-10 Tbsp Parsley

Directions

    Cleaning and washing the corn. Cook in boiling water with 1 pinch each of salt and sugar for about 30 minutes. In the meantime, wash the tomatoes and cut out the stalk. Dice the flesh roughly.

    Halve the chilli pepper lengthwise, remove the seeds. Chop the pod finely. Wash the meat, dab dry and cut into 8 pieces. Heat oil in a pan. Fry the fillets for 2-3 minutes on each side.

    Season with salt and pepper, remove and keep warm. Sauté the tomatoes and chilli in the frying fat. Add ketchup, bring to the boil briefly. Season to taste with salt and pepper if necessary. Arrange corn, steaks and sauce garnished with parsley on plates.
