Ingredients

Servings: 30
  • 1 pack of (450 g) deep-frozen puff pastry
  • 1 TEASPOON ground cinnamon
  • 75 g Diabetic sweetness
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • baking paper

Directions

  1. 1

Preparation: Place the puff pastry slices next to each other and allow to thaw. Mix cinnamon and 50 g diabetic sweetness. Place the puff pastry slices on top of each other and roll out into a rectangle (approx. 30 x 40 cm) on a floured work surface.

  2. 2

Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture onto the pastry sheet. Roll the shorter sides loosely towards the middle and fold both sides over each other. Leave to freeze for approx. 30 minutes in the freezer. Cut the dough roll into 30 slices with a sharp knife.

  3. 3

Place the pieces at a greater distance on baking trays lined with baking paper. Sprinkle the remaining diabetic sweetener over the pig's ears and bake in a preheated oven at 225 °C (fan oven: 200 °C) for 10-12 minutes, sheet by sheet.
