Ingredients

Servings: 20
  • 100 g Dark chocolate
  • 125 g demerara sugar
  • 50 ml Oil
  • 25 g liquid honey
  • 100 g Hazelnut kernels with skin
  • 500 g crunchy oats
  • 100 g Coconut flake
  • baking paper

Directions

  1. 1

Roughly chop the chocolate. Bring 125 ml water and sugar to the boil in a saucepan. Simmer at low heat for 3-4 minutes. Remove from the stove. Mix in oil, honey and chocolate, stir until the chocolate has dissolved. Let it cool down a little bit

  2. 2

In the meantime, roughly chop the nuts. Mix oat flakes, grated coconut and nuts in a large bowl. Pour chocolate syrup over them and mix well. It is best to use your hands, because it should be mixed so that all ingredients are covered with the syrup

  3. 3

Line two baking trays with baking paper. Spread the oatmeal mixture evenly on the two baking trays and bake them one after the other in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ circulating air: 150 °C/ gas: see manufacturer) for approx. 20 minutes. Remove from the oven, place on a cake rack and allow to cool

  4. 4

Pour cooled muesli into a large, easy-to-close glass jar. Close well. Serve with fruit (e.g. banana) and milk

  5. 5

waiting time approx. 1 1/4 hours
