Cheese crackers with olive cream

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 3 TABLESPOONS (50 g) olives stuffed with paprika
  • 100 g Double cream cream cheese
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Milk
  • 7-10 Tbsp white pepper, possibly salt
  • 2 discs Gouda cheese (about 50 g each)
  • 8 round salty crackers
  • 7-10 Tbsp Mint

Directions

    Cut 2 olives into 8 slices. Chop the remaining olives very finely. Stir cream cheese and milk until smooth. Stir in chopped olives. Season to taste with pepper and salt if necessary

    Cut out 8 flowers (approx. 4 cm Ø) from the cheese slices or cut cheese into quarters. Cut out smaller flowers from the rest of Gouda or cut Gouda into cubes. Spread the large cheese blossoms evenly with the olive cream

    Crackers each with a large coated and the small flowers cover. Finally garnish with 1 olive slice each. Arrange 2 crackers on each plate and garnish with mint if desired

    -The best way to cut out the cheese is with cookie cutters. Use a drinking glass or a shot glass for the small circles

    -Instead of Gouda, Tilsiter, cave cheese or Emmental is also suitable according to taste
