Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 2 small ripe pears
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Lemon juice
  • 1 TABLESPOON Butter
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Cane sugar
  • 4-5 Tbsp apple juice
  • 10 soft cream toffees
  • 100 g Whipped cream
  • 4 Balls caramel ice cream
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Hazelnut brittle

Directions

    Peel and halve the pears. Remove the core, sprinkle the halves with lemon juice. Melt butter in an ovenproof pan and sauté pears for about 5 minutes, turning occasionally.

    Sprinkle the pears with sugar and let them caramelise slightly while turning them regularly, drizzling the liquid over and over again. Add apple juice and cook in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: see manufacturer) for 15-20 minutes

    Cut the candies into small pieces and melt them in cream at low heat in a small pot. Arrange pears, caramel sauce and ice cream on plates and sprinkle with brittle
