Ingredients

Servings: 400
  • 300 g Sugar
  • 1⁄2 Organic Lemon
  • 2–3 large fragrant organic rose blossoms

Directions

  1. 1

Boil sugar and 1⁄4 l water for about 3 minutes until bubbly. Let cool down for about 10 minutes. Wash organic lemon hot and cut into slices. Pluck leaves from 2-3 large fragrant organic rose petals, making sure they are free of dust or dirt.

  2. 2

Put them with lemon slices into a hot rinsed container. Add lukewarm syrup. Close the jar and let it stand for 1-2 days. The syrup changes colour depending on the type of rose. Pour through a sieve into a hot-rinsed twist-off glass (approx. 400 ml content).

  3. 3

Keeps cold for at least 4 weeks.
