Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 400 g Chinese cabbage
  • 2 medium-sized onions
  • 375 g Potatoes (mainly waxy)
  • 150 g Debreczin sausage
  • 1 collar Chives
  • 1 TABLESPOON Butter or margarine
  • 1 TABLESPOON Sweet peppers
  • 1 l clear broth (instant)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper

Directions

    Clean and wash the Chinese cabbage and cut it in half lengthwise. Remove stalk. Cut cabbage into fine strips. Onions peel, halve and cut into slices. Wash, peel and chop the potatoes.

    Cut the sausage into slices. Wash the chives, dab dry and cut into small rolls. Heat the fat in a pot and braise the onions. Add potatoes, braise briefly and sprinkle with paprika.

    Pour in broth, add sausage and bring everything to the boil. Simmer for about 10 minutes. Add Chinese cabbage 5 minutes before the end of cooking time. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve soup sprinkled with chive rolls.
