Broth with chicken and broccoli

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1/2 bunch Soup vegetables
  • 1-2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 (approx. 40 g) Onion
  • 1/2 TEASPOON white peppercorns
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • 3 Cloves
  • 1 Chicken breast (on the bone, approx. 400 g)
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 200 g Broccoli
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 2-3 TEASPOONS Soy sauce

Directions

    Wash and clean the soup vegetables and cut into small pieces. Peel and chop garlic and onion. Put 1.2 litres of water in a pot. Add spices, garlic, onion and soup vegetables and cook for about 15 minutes.

    Wash the meat, dab dry, add, bring to the boil and cook over medium heat for about 30 minutes. Carve tomatoes crosswise, blanch with boiling water and rinse in cold water. Peel, quarter, seed and cut the tomatoes into strips.

    Clean the broccoli, divide into small florets and cook in boiling salted water for about 5 minutes. Remove the meat from the broth and let it rest for about 10 minutes. Pour broth through a fine sieve, degrease, bring to the boil and season with salt and soy sauce.

    Skin the meat, remove from the bones and cut into slices. Add broccoli, tomatoes and slices of meat to the hot broth and serve.
