Ingredients

Servings: 8
  • 1 Carrot
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 small clove of garlic
  • 250–300 g mixed mince
  • 1 TABLESPOON Olive oil
  • 1 TABLESPOON Tomato paste
  • 200 g chunky tomatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, pepper, sugar
  • 1 coated Tsp Italian herbs
  • 150 g small noodles (e.g. Minipenne)
  • 125 g Mozzarella

Directions

    Preparation: Peel, wash and finely dice the carrot. Peel and chop onion and garlic. Fry the minced meat in hot oil until crumbly. Fry onion, garlic and carrot briefly. Stir in tomato paste and tomatoes.

    Season with salt, pepper, 1 pinch of sugar and herbs. Simmer the sauce for 15-20 minutes.

    Cook the pasta in boiling salted water for about 10 minutes. Cut the mozzarella into pieces. Drain noodles.

    At the table: Spread the pasta and minced sauce in the pans. Sprinkle with mozzarella and gratinate under the hot grill.
