Ingredients

Servings: 1
  • 1 pack of (1000 g) Baking mix "Rustic rye mixed bread" (Kutenholzer)
  • 1 package Dry yeast
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • 200 g Hazelnut kernels
  • baking paper

Directions

  1. 1

Mix the baking mix and dry yeast. Add 650 ml lukewarm water. Knead to a smooth dough with the dough hooks of the hand mixer. Dust the dough with a little flour and let it rise in a warm place, covered, for 30-45 minutes.

  2. 2

Knead the nuts evenly into the dough. If the dough is still sticky, add some extra flour. Cut the dough in half and form two round flat breads (approx. 20 cm Ø) with your hands.

  3. 3

Carve the bread diagonally. Place a metal pot with water on the baking tray and bake the breads in a preheated oven (electric range: 225 ° C/ gas: level 4) for about 10 minutes. Turn down the oven (electric oven: 200 ° C/ gas: level 3) and bake the breads for another 25-30 minutes.

  4. 4

Let it cool down. Each loaf of bread makes about 10 slices. Chive butter tastes good with it.
