Ingredients

Servings: 8
  • 2 red onions
  • 300 g cooked beetroot (vacuum-packed)
  • 1 TABLESPOON Lemon juice
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Schmand
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sugar
  • 8 discs brown bread
  • 8 herring fillets (approx. 90 g each)

Directions

    Onions peel, finely dice. Finely dice the beetroot. (Dye strongly, wear gloves!) Mix beetroot and onions with lemon juice and sour cream. Season with salt, pepper and sugar.

    Spread brown bread with beetroot cream and cover with matie filets.
