Beef steak with asian pan-fried vegetables

Ingredients

  • 150 g Fillet of beef
  • 1 TEASPOON + some oil
  • 10 g Cashew nuts
  • 10 g Ginger Tuber
  • 1 small clove of garlic
  • 100 g Broccoli in Röschen
  • 1/2 small, red pepper
  • 1/2 Courgette
  • 30 g Bean sprouts
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Soy sauce
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Aluminium foil

Directions

    Wash the fillet of beef and dab dry. Brush a small coated pan with oil. Heat the pan. Sauté the beef fillet on each side for approx. 1 1/2 minutes, remove and cook in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: level 2) for approx. 10 minutes.

    Meanwhile roast the cashew nuts in a pan without fat, take them out. Peel ginger and garlic and dice finely. Wash broccoli and chop smaller. Clean, wash and cut the peppers into strips.

    Wash and slice the zucchini. Wash the sprouts and dab dry. Remove meat from the oven, wrap in aluminium foil and leave to rest. Heat 1 tsp. oil in a coated pan. Fry the zucchini, broccoli and peppers for about 3 minutes, turning them over.

    Add sprouts, garlic and ginger and cook for about 2 minutes. Season to taste with soy sauce, pepper and sugar. Fold in nuts. Arrange meat and vegetables on plates.
