Ingredients

  • 400 g Beef from the topside (in pieces)
  • 75 ml beetroot juice
  • 100 ml Soy sauce
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 1 TABLESPOON black sesame seed
  • 1 TABLESPOON light sesame seed
  • 1 TEASPOON Curry Powder
  • baking paper

Directions

    Freeze the meat about 1 hour before preparation. Mix beetroot juice and soy sauce. Season with pepper. Cut the meat into approx. 5 mm thick slices with the slicing machine. Mix with the marinade and leave to marinate for approx. 1 hour.

    Place meat slices next to each other on 2 baking trays lined with baking paper. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and curry powder and let dry in a preheated oven (electric cooker: not recommended/ circulating air: 75 °C/ gas: not recommended) for 6-7 hours. Let the dried meat cool down on the trays. Store in a cool and dry place.
