Ingredients

  • 1 Baby pineapple
  • 50 g Manchego cheese
  • 250 g Walnut ciabatta bread
  • 4-6 stems Thyme
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 8 discs Serrano ham

Directions

    Peel and thinly slice the pineapple. Slice the cheese or cut it into strips with a peeler. Cut bread into 8 slices. Wash thyme, shake dry and chop half of the leaves into small pieces.

    Spread slices of bread with olive oil on both sides. Spread the ham and pineapple slices on the bread. Sprinkle with chopped thyme and cheese and bake in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 225 °C/ convection oven: 200 °C/ gas: see manufacturer) for 5-8 minutes. Garnish with thyme before serving.
