Ingredients

  • 2 Bread roll (from the previous day)
  • 1 medium onion
  • 100-125 g dried tomatoes in oil (glass)
  • 1 kg mixed mince
  • 2 Eggs (Gr. M)
  • 3 TSP Pizza spice or tomato mozzarella salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp black pepper
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Oil (e.g. olive oil)
  • 3 medium-sized tomatoes
  • 250 g Mozzarella cheese
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salad leaves and basil
  • baking paper

Directions

    Soak the buns. Peel onion, drain dried tomatoes. Dice both finely. Knead with minced meat, eggs, squeezed out rolls, 2 teaspoons pizza spice, salt and pepper

    Shape it into about 16 flat meatballs with moistened hands. Fry in 2 tablespoons of hot oil on each side for 5-6 minutes

    Wash the tomatoes. Cut tomatoes and cheese into about 16 slices each. Put the meatballs on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Cover with 1 slice each of tomato and cheese

    Bake in the preheated oven (electric oven: 200 °C/circulating air: 175 °C/gas: level 3) for 8-10 minutes. Remove. Sprinkle with 1 tbsp. oil and sprinkle with 1 tsp. pizza spice. Serve with salad and basil. Ciabatta goes well with it
