Asparagus sauce: Béchamel with curry

  • 30 g Butter or margarine
  • 30 g Flour
  • 1/2-1 TEASPOON Curry Powder
  • 250 ml Vegetable broth
  • 250 g Milk
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp grated nutmeg

Directions

    Heat the fat in a saucepan. Sweat the flour in it while stirring. Add curry and sweat briefly. Add stock and milk while stirring, bring to the boil and simmer for about 5 minutes while stirring. Season sauce with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
