Asian meatballs on sesame spinach

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 2 medium-sized onions
  • 1–2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 walnut-sized piece of ginger
  • 500 g minced beef
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Egg (Gr. M)
  • 3-4 Tbsp Soy sauce
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 1 kg leaf spinach
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Sesame
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp 1⁄2 -1 Tsp Sambal Oelek
  • 8 Kebabs

Directions

    Peel and finely dice the onions and garlic. Peel ginger and chop very finely. Knead minced meat, breadcrumbs, egg, ginger, half each of garlic and onions. Season with approx. 2 tablespoons soy sauce and pepper.

    Shape approx. 16 balls from the chopping mass with moistened hands.

    Clean and wash the spinach. Roast sesame seeds in a pan without fat, take them out.

    Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a frying pan. Fry the meatballs in it for about 8 minutes.

    Heat 1-2 tablespoons of oil in a large pot. Fry the rest of the garlic and onions until transparent. Add spinach dripping wet and cover and let it collapse. With sambal

    Add sesame seeds to the spinach and fold in. Put 2 meatballs on 1 skewer and arrange with the sesame spinach. Rice (e.g. jasmine rice) is delicious with it.
