Steak and vegetable pan

Ingredients

Servings: 2
  • 1/2 580 ml can of bamboo shoots (150 g drained weight)
  • 1 medium zucchini
  • 2 small carrots
  • 2 Onions
  • 20 g Butter or margarine
  • 1/8 l clear broth (instant)
  • 100 g frozen peas
  • 2 Beef fillet steaks (approx. 150 g each)
  • 2 discs Bacon
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Parsley
  • 7-10 Tbsp little wooden skewers

Directions

    Drain the bamboo and cut into thin slices. Clean, wash and thinly slice the zucchini and carrots. Peel onions and cut into slices. Heat the fat in a pan and fry the vegetables in it.

    Deglaze with broth and cook for about 10 minutes. Add peas 3 minutes before the end of cooking time. Wrap the fillet steaks with the bacon and pin them with small wooden skewers. Heat the oil in another pan and fry the steaks in it for 1 minute on each side.

    Then fry on medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Season vegetables with salt and pepper as well. Arrange the steaks on the vegetables. Garnish with parsley.

    New potatoes sprinkled with parsley taste good with it.
