  • 150 g Low-fat curd
  • 75 g Sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 5 TABLESPOONS Milk
  • 5 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 300 g Flour
  • 1 package Baking Powder
  • 4 small apples
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Lemon juice
  • 1/2 glass (370 ml; separation weight: 180 g) Haze Cranberries
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 TABLESPOON Whipped cream
  • baking paper

Directions

    Mix quark, sugar, vanillin sugar, milk, oil and salt. Mix flour and baking powder, add and knead everything into a smooth dough. Peel, quarter and core apples. Cut apple quarters into slices. Drizzle with lemon juice.

    Drain the cranberries. Roll out 1/3 of the dough thinly. Roll out a grid with a grid roller. Roll out the remaining dough to a square (approx. 28x28 cm). Mark 16 squares (7x7 cm each). Separate the egg. Put apple slices and cranberries in the middle of the squares, brush the edges with egg white. Put a grid on top and press between the apples. Cut out the 16 squares with a sharp knife. Whisk egg yolk and cream.

Place 8 pieces of each on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven (electric range: 175 °C/ gas: level 2) for about 15 minutes. Results in 16 pieces
