Apple-Hazelnut Crumble

Ingredients

  • 2 easy go. tablespoon (30 g) flour
  • 50 g ground hazelnuts
  • 2 tablespoons (40 g) + some soft butter/margarine
  • 2 heaped tablespoons (40 g) Sugar
  • 1 package Bourbon vanilla sugar
  • 2 large sour apples
  • 7-10 Tbsp juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Hazelnut kernels
  • 7-10 Tbsp Icing sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Apple slices and balm

Directions

    Mix the flour, ground nuts, 2 tablespoons of fat, sugar and vanilla sugar with the dough hooks of the hand mixer into crumbles. Chill for about 15 minutes.

    Grease 4 small or 1 large casserole dish. Peel, quarter and core apples. Cut apple quarters into thin slices and sprinkle with lemon juice

    Spread apples in the moulds and sprinkle with crumbles. Bake in a hot oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/circulating air: 150 °C/gas: level 2) for approx. 25 minutes

    Coarsely chop the hazelnut kernels. Sprinkle Crumble with them and dust with icing sugar. Decorate with apple slices and lemon balm. Serve with vanilla sauce

    The hazelnut crumbles can also be refined with a few drops of rum aroma or a little cinnamon
