Apple fritters with vanilla sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/2 l Milk
  • 1 package Sauce powder " Vanilla flavour"
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Sugar
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 75 ml White wine
  • 75 g Flour
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 Apples
  • 7-10 Tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 l oil for frying
  • 1/2 TEASPOON Cinnamon
  • 7-10 Tbsp Lemon balm

Directions

    Bring milk to the boil, except for 4 tablespoons. Stir the sauce powder, 2 tablespoons of sugar and the rest of the milk until smooth. Stir the sauce powder into the boiling milk, simmer for about 1 minute. Chill the vanilla sauce. Stir egg, wine, flour and salt until smooth. Leave to swell for 15 minutes. Peel apples and remove the core with an apple corer.

    Cut apples into 12 rings and sprinkle with lemon juice. Heat the oil in a pot. Dab apple rings dry, pull them through the dough and fry them in portions in hot oil until golden brown. Remove the apple rings, let them drip off on kitchen paper and turn them over in cinnamon and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Arrange the apple rings with some sauce on plates and serve decorated with lemon balm. Serve with the rest of the sauce
