Amaretto plums with vanilla ice cream

  • 1 glass (720 ml) Plums
  • 50 ml Amaretto (Italian almond liqueur)
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 1 TABLESPOON Cornstarch
  • 50 g flaked almonds
  • 4 scoops of vanilla ice cream (about 50 g each)

Directions

    Drain the plums and collect the juice. Measure out 200 ml of juice, add Amaretto and sugar and bring to the boil. Stir the rest of the juice with cornflour until smooth and bind the juice with it. Add the plums and chill for about 30 minutes.

    Roast the almonds in a hot pan until golden. Remove and put aside. Arrange the Amaretto plums in glasses and sprinkle with almonds. Place 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream on each and serve
