Yellow tomato jam with dates and acacia honey

Ingredients

  • 1 kg yellow tomatoes (golden queen)
  • 80 g dried dates
  • 1 package (500 g) Gelling sugar (2:1)
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 TABLESPOON Acacia honey
  • 3-4 Tbsp White wine vinegar

Directions

    Wash the tomatoes, dab dry and cut into cubes. Cut dates a little smaller

    Put tomatoes and dates in a pot and bring to the boil. Stir in jam sugar, salt, honey and vinegar. Let everything simmer for 6-8 minutes at high heat while stirring

    Pour the jam into 5 clean jars with twist-off lids, close them immediately and place them on the lid for about 5 minutes. Turn over again and let it cool down
