Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 50 g Milk chocolate
  • 125 g Whipped cream
  • 1 TEASPOON Cocoa
  • 1 pinch Cinnamon
  • 375 ml dry white wine
  • 75 g Sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 2 Pears (about 135 g each)
  • 4 scoops of vanilla ice cream (approx. 60 g each)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Chocolate flakes and mint

Directions

  1. 1

For the chocolate sauce, chop the chocolate coarsely. Heat the cream in a small pot. Add the chocolate, cocoa and cinnamon and melt at low heat while stirring. Remove from the stove and let it cool down. Bring wine, sugar, lemon juice, 125 ml water and vanillin sugar to the boil in a pot. In the meantime, wash and halve the pears and cut out the core.

  2. 2

Add the pear halves to the hot wine stock and let them steep at low heat for 6-8 minutes. Lift them out of the stock with a ladle and let them drain. Cut the pear halves in a fan shape as desired. Arrange one half of each pear, a scoop of vanilla ice cream and some chocolate sauce on a dessert plate. Serve decorated with chocolate shavings and mint as desired. Serve the rest of the chocolate sauce extra
