Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 2 Onions
  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • 2 red peppers
  • 2 Chillies
  • 1 (330 ml) bottle of light beer (Pils)
  • 400 ml Vegetable broth
  • 1 Pot of coriander
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Wine vinegar
  • 2 can(s) (425 ml each) large white beans
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp dried oregano
  • 7-10 Tbsp smoked paprika powder
  • 2-4 Tbsp Lime juice

Directions

    Peel and finely dice the onions and garlic. Clean, wash and finely dice the peppers. Clean the chillies and cut into thin rings. Boil up beer, broth, onions, garlic, paprika and chillies and simmer for about 5 minutes

    Wash coriander, shake dry, pluck leaves from the stems. Puree vinegar and coriander finely in the universal chopper, except for a little for garnishing. Pour beans into a sieve and rinse with cold water. Add the beans and coriander to the soup, bring to the boil and simmer for about 10 minutes

    Season soup with salt, oregano, paprika powder and lime juice to taste. Serve and garnish with coriander
