White cabbage and potato stew

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 kg White cabbage
  • 1 l Vegetable broth (instant)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp black pepper
  • 500 g Potatoes
  • 2 medium-sized onions
  • 7-10 Tbsp (à 40 g)
  • 1-2 tablespoons (10 g each) Oil
  • 500 g Minced beef

Directions

    Wash, clean and quarter cabbage. Cut out the hard stalk, cut the cabbage into strips. Boil up the stock in a large pot. Add white cabbage strips and cook at medium heat for about 30 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Peel and wash the potatoes and cut them into large cubes. Add the potatoes to the stew after about 10 minutes cooking time and bring to the boil.

    In the meantime peel onions. Heat oil in a large coated pan and sauté the onion cubes in it. Add the minced meat and fry. Finally stir the minced meat into the stew. If necessary, season again with salt and pepper. Serve immediately
