Ingredients

  • 1 glass (720 ml) Cherries
  • 1/2 package Red fruit jelly powder
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Almond liqueur
  • 100 g Butter or margarine
  • 50 g + 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 packages Vanillin sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp grated rind of 1/2 untreated lemon
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 3 Eggs (size M)
  • 175 g Flour
  • 1 TEASPOON Baking Powder
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 200 g Whipped cream
  • 250 g Schmand
  • 1 package Cream stabiliser
  • 1 TEASPOON Cinnamon
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease

Directions

    Drain the cherries and collect the juice. Boil up the juice. Stir red fruit jelly powder with a little water until smooth. Bind the juice with it. Add the cherries and bring to the boil again. Stir in liqueur.

    Let the compote cool down. Cream fat, 50 g sugar, 1 packet vanilla sugar, lemon peel and salt. Stir in the eggs one by one. Mix flour and baking powder, alternately stir in with the milk. Preheat waffle iron and grease lightly. Bake 4 waffles one after the other from the dough. Let them cool down. Whip the cream and sour cream until stiff, adding cream firmer and 1 sachet of vanilla sugar. Pour into a piping bag with a perforated spout. Mix 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon. Place a waffle on a plate and squirt 1/4 of the sour cream on top.
