Vanilla ice cream with hot cherries

Ingredients

  • 500 g Sour cherries
  • 1 tablespoon (10 g) Cornstarch
  • 1/2 l Cherry Juice
  • 1/2 Cinnamon stick
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp chocolate or
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Chocolate Grater
  • 500 ml Vanilla Ice Cream

Directions

    Wash, stalk and stone the sour cherries. Mix starch with 1-2 tablespoons cherry juice until smooth

    Boil up the rest of the cherry juice, cinnamon stick and sugar. Add the cherries and simmer for 3-4 minutes. Stir in the starch and bring the sauce to the boil again briefly. Take out the cinnamon stick

    Slice thin shavings off the chocolate with a peeler

    From the vanilla ice cream with the ice cream scoop portioner 8 scoops or with a tablespoon 8 cams and distribute in 4 small bowls. Pour the hot cherries over them. Sprinkle with chocolate chips or shavings and serve immediately

    Tip: If you want it to go fast, you can also use 1 jar of cherries: Boil the cherries in the juice with the cinnamon stick and thicken with starch as described in the recipe
