Red wine peaches with ice cream

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 4-6 ripe peaches or 8-12 peach halves (tin)
  • 1/4 l Red wine
  • 1/4 l Cherry Juice
  • 7-10 Tbsp peel of 1/2 untreated lemon
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • 2-3 tablespoons (20 g each) Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon (15 g) Cornstarch
  • 200 ml Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 2-3 TEASPOONS crushed pistachios
  • 7-10 Tbsp Mint

Directions

    Wash the peaches and scratch the skin crosswise. Add boiling water, rinse briefly, rinse and peel skin. Cut peaches in half and stone

    2. bring wine, juice, lemon peel and cinnamon to the boil. Simmer open for about 5 minutes and season with sugar. Add the peaches and simmer for another 3-4 minutes

    Take out the peaches, remove lemon and cinnamon. Stir starch and 2 tablespoons of water until smooth. Bind the wine stock with it. Let cool down

    Possibly cut half peaches into slices. Arrange all fruits. Cover the peach halves with sauce. Put ice cream on top as curls or balls. Decorate with pistachios and possibly mint
