Ingredients

Servings: 8
  • 2 Onions
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 250 g Frozen leaf spinach
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sweet peppers
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 250 g minced beef
  • 1 TABLESPOON Tomato paste
  • 1⁄2 Tsp ground cumin
  • 2 (400 g each) Rolls of pizza dough (refrigerated shelf)
  • 150 g Feta
  • 1 TABLESPOON Sesame (possibly black)
  • baking paper

Directions

  1. 1

Peel and chop the onions. Fry half of the onions in 1 tbsp. hot oil. Add the frozen spinach and 7 tbsp. water, cover and steam for about 10 minutes until the spinach is defrosted. Then cook open for about 6 minutes until all the liquid has evaporated.

  2. 2

Season with salt, pepper and paprika. Let cool down briefly and chop coarsely.

  3. 3

Wash and finely dice the tomatoes. Fry the chopped tomatoes in 1 tbsp. hot oil until crumbly. Fry the rest of the onions and tomatoes briefly. Stir in tomato paste. Season with salt, pepper and possibly cumin.

  4. 4

Line two baking trays with baking paper. Place 1 pizza dough without paper on each tray and cut crosswise into 4 strips. Spread the spinach and minced meat filling separately on 4 pieces of dough each, leaving approx. 1 1⁄2 cm of edge free all around.

  5. 5

Fold the long sides towards the middle so that the ends lie on top of each other and "boats" are formed. Press on well.

  6. 6

Crumble the feta and sprinkle on the spinach. Spread the edges of the dough with the rest of the oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake in a hot oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/circulating air: 175 °C/gas: see manufacturer) for about 20 minutes.
