Wash the meat, dab dry and cut into 6-8 medallions. Cut mozzarella into 6-8 slices. Wash tomatoes and cut them into 3-4 slices. Wash the basil, dab dry and remove the leaves.
Heat the oil in a pan with a lid. Brown the meat in it from one side for about 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, then turn. Spread the pesto in the pan.
Cover meat with basil, 1 slice of mozzarella and 1 slice of tomato. Cover and fry for another 5-6 minutes. Serve with pesto gravy. Serve with fresh ciabatta.
