Ingredients

  • 600 g Turkey Breast
  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • 2 heaped Tsp gyros spice salt
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp grated rind of 1/2 untreated lemon
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 Cucumber
  • 400 g fat-reduced Greek yoghurt (0.2 % fat)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp black pepper
  • 200 g Carrots
  • 1 collar Spring onions (4 pieces)
  • 1 Salad heart (e.g. romaine lettuce)
  • 200 g Basmati rice
  • 7-10 Tbsp Chili Flakes

Directions

    Wash the meat, dab dry and cut into fine strips. Peel garlic and dice finely. Mix gyros spice, oil, 1/3 of the garlic and lemon peel. Mix everything with the meat and chill for at least 1 hour. Peel and finely dice the onion.

    Wash and clean the cucumber and slice into fine sticks. Mix yoghurt with half of the cucumber, the rest garlic and onion, season to taste with salt and pepper and chill. Peel and wash the carrots and slice them into fine sticks. Wash and clean spring onions and cut into fine rings. Clean, wash and cut the salad into very fine strips. Cook rice in boiling salted water according to package instructions. Heat a coated pan, fry the meat in it. Drain rice, let it drain. Arrange meat with rice, salad and vegetables, add tzatziki.
