Tomato soup with rice (diet)

Ingredients

  • 25 g Parboiled Reis
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 1/2 can(s) (400 g) strained tomatoes
  • 100 ml Vegetable broth (instant)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sugar
  • 2 stem(s) Thyme
  • 1 washer (30 g) lean cooked ham

Directions

    Prepare rice in boiling salted water according to package instructions. Bring strained tomatoes and stock to the boil and season with salt, pepper and sugar. Wash the thyme, dab dry and chop the leaves from one stalk.

    Cut the ham into strips. Add chopped thyme to the soup and serve. Add rice and ham strips to the soup. Garnish with remaining thyme.
