Ingredients

Servings: 1
  • 1 Baking mix (500 g)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Butter shortbread biscuits
  • 150 g soft butter
  • 2 eggs + 1 egg white (size M)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • 150 g semi-bitter couverture
  • 150 g Icing sugar
  • 2 packs Chocolate decor "Alphabet & Numbers"
  • 7-10 Tbsp colourful sugar sprinkles, small and large love beads, liquorice confectionery and grated coconut
  • baking paper, 24 wooden skewers
  • 1 Disposable piping bag

Directions

  1. 1

Put the baking mix, butter and 2 eggs in a mixing bowl. Knead everything with the dough hooks of the hand mixer to a smooth dough and put it covered in a cool place for about 30 minutes. Line 2 baking trays (or tray + fat pan) with baking paper. Preheat the oven: electric cooker: 175 °C/circulating air: 150 °C/ gas: level 2

  2. 2

Roll out the dough on a little flour to a good 1/2 cm thick. Use Christmas cookie cutters to cut 24 small and large cookies (e.g. stars, angels, animals). Place them on the right and left side of the trays. Stick 1 wooden skewer into each one to make a "lollipop". Bake them one after the other in a hot oven for 15-20 minutes. Let them cool down

  3. 3

Heat water in a pot (do not boil!) for the water bath. Divide the couverture into cubes. Hang a smaller pot or a stainless steel bowl with handles in the water pot. Melt the couverture while stirring in it. Beat the egg white and icing sugar with a hand mixer until creamy

  4. 4

Now possibly fill 1/3 cast into a disposable syringe bag. Spread the cookies with couverture or the remaining glaze. Stick numbers on them or cut off the tip of the piping bag and spray numbers with the cast. Decorate everything with sweets and let it dry well. Put the cookies in a box or tin with moss and cotton wool
