Sunken plum cake from the tray

Ingredients

  • 2 kg Prunes
  • 200 g Butter or margarine
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 4 Eggs (size M)
  • 300 Flour
  • 1 package Sauce powder "Vanilla flavor
  • 3 TSP Baking Powder
  • 30 g Sugar crystals
  • 7-10 Tbsp Fat and flour

Directions

    Wash, halve and stone the plums. Cream soft fat, sugar, vanillin sugar and salt. Stir in eggs one after the other. Mix flour, sauce powder and baking powder and stir in.

    Put the dough into a greased, flour-strewn fat pan of the oven (32x38 cm) and smooth it down. Spread plums on the dough. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: level 2) for 45-50 minutes.

    Cover the last 15 minutes with aluminium foil if necessary. Take out the cake and sprinkle with sugar crystals. Let the cake cool down in the tray. Whipped cream is delicious with it.
