Clean, wash and quarter the strawberries. Peel lemon thinly. Boil 1 kg strawberries, 3/4 litre water, red wine, sliced vanilla pod, 175 g sugar, cinnamon stick and lemon peel. Stir cornflour in a little water until smooth and add to the fruit while stirring. Remove cinnamon stick, vanilla pod and lemon peel and season the groats with lemon juice and sugar. Fold in remaining strawberries and let the groats cool down. Delicious with vanilla sauce
