Strawberry jelly with vanilla ice cream

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 6 sheets Gelatine
  • 300 ml Strawberry nectar or cherry juice
  • 4-6 Tbsp Sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp grated rind of 1 untreated lemon
  • 300 ml White wine
  • 400 g Strawberries
  • 300 ml Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 7-10 Tbsp crushed pistachios

Directions

    Soak the gelatine in cold water. Bring the juice, sugar and lemon zest to the boil and remove from the heat. Squeeze out the gelatine and dissolve in it. Stir in wine and cool down a little

    Wash and clean the strawberries. Cut them into thin slices except for 2 for decoration. Divide into 4 dessert bowls or fill into a large bowl

    Pour the jelly liquid over it and chill for at least 3 hours. To serve, form 4 scoops from the ice cream and arrange on the strawberry jelly. Decorate with pistachios and other strawberries
