Ingredients

  • 500 g fresh strawberries
  • 2 Zwiebäcke
  • 4 Eggs (size M)
  • 50 g Icing sugar
  • 1 package Bourbon vanilla sugar
  • 40 g Flour
  • 7-10 Tbsp Icing sugar

    Wash and clean the strawberries, cut them in half and put them into an ovenproof dish. Finely grate the rusks. Separate eggs. Beat the egg whites until stiff, gradually adding icing sugar and vanilla sugar. Carefully stir in the egg yolks. Sift the flour over the egg foam.

    Fold in loosely with a whisk. Sprinkle strawberries with the rusk crumbs. Fill the egg foam onto the fruits with a large spoon. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ gas: level 2) for about 30 minutes until golden brown. Dust with icing sugar and serve immediately
