Strawberry Basil Jam

Ingredients

  • 1 collar Basil
  • 1600 g Strawberries
  • 1 package (500 g) Gelling sugar (3:1)
  • 7-10 Tbsp white pepper

Directions

    Wash basil, dab dry, cut leaves into fine strips. Wash and clean the strawberries and cut them into small cubes. Weigh 1500 g of fruit. Mix strawberries in a small pot with jam sugar and pepper.

    Bring to the boil while stirring continuously at high heat. Leave to boil for at least 3 minutes while stirring. Stir in basil, bring to the boil once. Pour jam into prepared, clean jars, close them and place on the lid for 5 minutes.
