Spicy buttermilk drink with vegetable juice

  • 80 ml Vegetable juice
  • 100 ml Buttermilk
  • 2 stem(s) Thyme
  • 7-10 Tbsp juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cayenne pepper
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • 1 cucumber slice and 1 strip of lemon peel to garnish

Directions

    Pour the vegetable juice and buttermilk into the blender jug. Wash the thyme and, except for something to garnish, pluck off the leaves and add to the juice. Season and mix with lemon juice, salt and pepper.

    Season to taste with salt and sugar. Put the cucumber slice on the glass and garnish with lemon peel. Sprinkle the drink with some thyme.
