Defrost the prawns. Cook the noodles in boiling salted water according to the instructions on the packet.
Wash, clean and chop the tomatoes. Peel onion and garlic and dice them finely. Wash basil, shake dry, except for something to garnish, pluck leaves from the stalks and chop.
Rinse the prawns and pat them dry. Heat the oil in a pan. Fry the onions, garlic and prawns for 4-5 minutes while turning them until the prawns are hot. Remove from heat, stir in tomatoes and chopped basil.
Season with salt, pepper and some sugar.
Drain the pasta, arrange with the sauce and garnish with the remaining basil leaves.
