Spaghetti with peas and bacon

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 2 discs Toast
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Butter
  • 50 g Parmesan cheese
  • 150 g streaky smoked bacon
  • 1 Onion
  • 400 g Spaghetti
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 300 g frozen peas
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper

Directions

    Crumble bread. Heat butter in a pan. Roast bread crumbs in it while turning constantly, take out. Slice the Parmesan cheese into thin slices. Cut bacon into strips. Peel and chop onion

    Meanwhile, prepare the pasta in boiling salted water according to the instructions on the packet. Fry bacon in a pan without fat until crispy. Add peas and diced onion to the bacon in the pan and fry for another 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Take off 100 ml pasta cooking water and add to the peas

    Pour the finished spaghetti into a sieve, drain and put it back into the pot. Add the pea pan and fold in. Mix parmesan slices and breadcrumbs. Arrange pasta and cheese crumbs on plates
