Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 50 g streaky smoked bacon
  • 400 g mixed mince
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 1 can(s) (à 850 ml) Tomatoes
  • 400 g Spaghetti
  • 125 g Mini-Mozzarella balls
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Pesto (glass)
  • 2 stem(s) Basil

Directions

    Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic. Cut the bacon into strips, fry them in a pan for about 5 minutes while turning them until crispy, remove them.

    Fry the minced meat in bacon fat for about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Add onion and garlic, fry for another 5 minutes. Add the tomatoes, chop a little bit with a spatula, bring to the boil and simmer open for about 10 minutes.

    Cook the pasta in boiling salted water according to the instructions on the packet. Drain the mozzarella balls. Melt in a coated pan over medium heat for about 2 minutes. Stir in pesto. Season the minced sauce with salt and pepper. Stir in bacon. Wash the basil, shake dry and remove the leaves.

    Drain the pasta and mix with the sauce. Serve the pasta and mozzarella and sprinkle with basil.

    Mix the melted mozzarella with pesto and drizzle over the pasta.
