Shrimp and apricot skewers

Ingredients

  • 36–48 raw shrimps (about 30 g each; without head, in shell)
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Sambal Oelek (hot pepper paste)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 18–24 dried soft apricots
  • 12–16 Metal skewers

Directions

    Peel the shrimps, except for the tail fin, and remove the intestines. Wash the shrimps and dab them dry. Marinate with Sambal Oelek and season with salt

    Cut the dried apricots in half. Skewer 3 prawns and apricot halves onto each skewer. Grill the skewers on the barbecue for about 5 minutes on each side, then take them down.
