Ingredients

Servings: 65
  • 200 g Flour
  • 100 g Cornstarch
  • 175 g Butter or margarine
  • 2 Egg yolk (size M)
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 1 TEASPOON Baking Powder
  • 7-10 Tbsp grated rind of 1 untreated lemon
  • 1 package (75 g) Chocolate droplets
  • 1 Protein
  • 100 g crushed hazelnuts
  • baking paper

Directions

    Knead the flour, starch, fat, egg yolk, sugar, baking powder and lemon zest into a smooth short pastry. Knead in the chocolate drops and form 2 approx. 30 cm long and 3 cm thick rolls.

    Brush with egg white and roll in chopped hazelnuts. Chill for about 30 minutes. Cut dough roll into slices and place on baking trays lined with baking paper. Bake one after the other in a preheated oven (electric: 200°C/ gas: level 3) for 9-10 minutes.

    Leave to cool on the baking tray for about 5 minutes, then lift off the baking tray and allow to cool completely. Results in about 60-70 pieces.
