Ingredients

Servings: 1
  • 50 g hulled sesame seed
  • 3 Nori leaves (dried seaweed)
  • 7-10 Tbsp pre-cooked sushi rice from 150 g sushi rice (dry weight)
  • 3 (approx. 45 g) Surimi strips
  • 1/4 Avocado
  • 1 TEASPOON Lemon juice
  • 7-10 Tbsp Wasabi paste
  • 7-10 Tbsp Soy sauce
  • 2 Bamboo mats for rolling the sushi (wrapped in cling film)

Directions

  1. 1

Roast the sesame seeds in a pan without fat and take them out immediately. Let it cool down. Place 1 nori leaf on a bamboo mat. Place a thin layer of rice on the front half of a nori leaf and press down gently.

  2. 2

Dip hands in water in between. Cover with a second bamboo mat. Now turn and remove the bamboo mat. Cut surimi stripes in half lengthwise. Cut avocado into 6 strips and sprinkle with lemon juice.

  3. 3

Place 2 surimi strips and 2 avocado strips one behind the other on the nori leaf, brushing with wasabi if necessary. Roll up using the bamboo mat. Cut off the rest of the nori leaf. Turn the sushi roll in sesame seeds and cut into approx. 8 pieces.

  4. 4

Make another 2 rolls in the same way. Add wasabi and soy sauce.
